Divine Menopause Mission
Divine Menopause exists to support and empower women through the transformative phase of menopause – from peri through to post menopause. With a commitment to breaking the silence and stigma surrounding menopause, my aim is to build comprehensive resources, provide personalised guidance and ultimately a nurturing community for women to openly discuss their experiences and all aspects of life that affect the menopausal journey.
By empowering women with knowledge and tools, Divine Menopause aims to help them navigate the challenges of menopause, embrace this life transition with confidence and make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Ultimately Divine Menopause strives to transform the menopause experience, bring into the light the importance of this stage in a woman’s life and enable women to heal, to thrive, find fulfillment and embrace the divine journey of the menopause transformation.
Divine Menopause Philosophy
By combining the latest scientific research on healthy ageing for women with the deeper emotional and spiritual aspects of where a woman is at during her menopausal transformation, every aspect of a woman’s being can be addressed.
It is not just about hormonal imbalance. It is the ability to understand each woman’s journey, how she got here and where she desires to go. It is scientifically evidenced that women in their mid-life suffer far greater than men with auto-immune conditions, cardiovascular events and nervous system related conditions such as depression and anxiety.
There are physiological, cultural and psycho-spiritual reasons for this. I aim to bring these aspects into the light for now and for future generations of women who will be facing the challenges. We live in a society that still disregards the importance of the emergent wise woman.

Change is needed and it starts with you and I…
Modern day medicine has its place and can work well in combination with natural medicine, however it can never address the root cause of your menopausal symptoms. It can only allay symptoms with the potential side effects that pharmaceutical medications often come with. It is not within my scope of practice to recommend or not recommend pharmaceutical medications, however I can discuss potential herb/drug interactions with you and how to best speak to your doctor about options.
When I work with women in their mid-life who have decided to take charge of their health, it is a completely different ball game compared to women who have handed over their health. Instead of being left feeling disempowered and worried about their future health, they find a path of radical responsibility which often leads them back to who they truly are - A strong and self-empowered woman who is guided by her inner voice and her determination to become exactly who she desires to be. This is worth finding out more about.
An Awakening Is Occurring
Can you feel it in the air? Are you tapping into the growing movement that is waking women up to their true potential and power? For thousands of years society has been under patriarchal rule. It is a masculine paradigm which has done nothing more but to serve those who are presently in control. Overall it is a system that has sought and succeeded in disempowering women.
From how young girls perceive themselves, to the approach that women take during pregnancy and birthing, to the way we are told to raise our daughters, the schooling system and to how we constantly seek outside of ourselves in our ‘doing’ and ‘striving’ roles.
This has culminated into ‘rushing womans syndrome’ (termed by Libby Weaver) and to the subsequent women’s mid-life crisis where women will suffer from a physical and emotional nervous break down before they finally stop and realise that ‘yes’, things need to change.
Masculine energy is not ‘bad’, it is just very out of balance in present day society. We need to come back into balance if we are to regain the health of ourselves and our planet.

The Great Biological Mismatch
Women are not biologically matched to live the way they live. This mismatch is putting a great amount of strain on our physical health and this is never more exacerbated than in peri-menopause and beyond. Estrogen and progesterone have a wonderfully protective effect on our health. Overall these hormones offer anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, brain protective, bone, muscle and tissue protection, energy enhancement, heart and digestive protection and help to keep other hormones in balance.
Many chronic, underlying health conditions will raise their ugly heads as soon as your natural estrogen and progesterone levels start to fluctuate. It’s a perfect storm for menopausal chaos because it will affect every cell and tissue in our body. Our estrogen receptors reside all over the body, not just in the breasts and reproductive organs. This is why the wheels can fall off during your menopausal transition.
25 years of living a western lifestyle that is not conducive to living the way we are meant to live places a massive stress on our biological systems. Women are more susceptible to the negative effects of this mismatch due to the sensitivity of our nervous and hormonal systems and never more so than during your menopausal journey.
Women have a natural and deep connection to the earth
The great shift in consciousness is bringing to the light our need to reclaim our deep connection to the earth in which we inhabit. Women are traditionally the keepers and protectors of the natural environment. It can be seen in how our planet is being treated and in how we treat each other.
Mass farming practices are destroying our land and increasing our exposure to toxins at a rate that is incomprehensible. This is a major contributing factor to menopausal symptoms and something in which I have immense passion for. To help women to get in touch with their true feminine connection to mother earth and the importance of making life choices that reflects that.
Fresh, clean water, organic or spray-free fruits and vegetables, grass fed meats, local produce, fresh air, your light environment, removal of toxins, earthing, exercising outdoors are all examples of how we connect to ourselves and our environment.

What I love About My Life…
I am truly blessed. Living in Brisbane, Australia gives me such opportunity to connect with our beautiful earth. So when I am not working on how I can improve my service to you, I am at the beach or walking in nature.
My three children, although grown adults, will always be my greatest gift and achievement. And any opportunity I get to spend with them I do.
My amazing partner is my greatest teacher and one of my greatest blessings. He is truly my spiritual soul mate who has encouraged me to grow in ways I never could have imagined. You don’t always get what you want, but you always get what you need.
Travel, culture and spirituality live very close to my heart and combining these three is my life endeavour.
I am a healthy food foodie. Highly nutritious, tasty and fresh is how I like it and I am sure to share heaps of beautiful recipes and ideas with you as time goes on.
